APE Power Units
APE power units provide the contractor with the most advanced, Tier IV rated electronic engines with the highest possible horsepower. The hydraulic systems are simple and the valves are easy to to access and understand. The hydraulic tanks are filled with vegetable hydraulic oil and each power unit comes with a built-in spare tank so that if a spill occurs, the crew can keep the job going by turning a 1/4 turn ball valve filling the main tank to a safe operating level.
APE power units have built in ladders to allow the pile crew to rig the unit safely. The muffler system is “hospital rated” for quiet operation. The control panel is made from stainless steel to prevent corrosion. All functions are located on the remote control pendant as well as on the main control panel for emergency back up with optional radio remote systems available.
All units come with “forward” and “reverse” flow capability, allowing the contractor to use his machine to operate vibratory pile driver/extractors, auger drills, hydraulic impact hammers, winches, spotters, and other related foundation equipment including oscillators and dredging equipment.

J&M Power Units
J&M Power Units are designed for efficiency, they achieve reliability through simplicity of design and heavy duty construction. Caterpillar engines are used exclusively in light of their unmatched world wide parts and service capability. Similarly, only highest quality, name brand, readily available, hydraulic and electrical components are selected.
Safety, component protection, and ease of maintenance are built in. J&M units are exclusively filled with non-toxic, biodegradable Clarity mineral oil, making them environmentally friendly without sacrificing exceptionally long fluid and hydraulic component life. Dual controls (one on the remote pendant and another on the control panel) keep your job running even if the pendant is damaged. Radio remote (wireless) control is a plug in option. Easily adaptable to operate non-J&M equipment, J&M power units provide maximum value in operation and resale.
