APE’s Variable Moment 170 Cuts Vibration Damage

The APE Model 170 VM or variable moment machine with 2200 inch pounds of tungsten loaded eccentric moment was shipped to Savannah,Georgia.
The contractor’s crane operator said the new machine is so smooth off the crane line that he has trouble telling when the machine is on or off.
The new APE Model 170 is lighter and more powerful than any other variable moment machine on the market. It features a phase shifter that also transfers torque to the other two eccentrics, thus eliminating the need for two hydraulic motors.
